Your
body shape can reveal a lot about your current and future health
status. So, with that in mind, are you an "apple" or a
"pear " shape?

Your hips are measured on the widest place. Enter both measurements

What it all means
For men, a healthy body shape reads less than 1.0, whereas for women
a healthy figure should be no more than 0.85.
For
both sexes, anything above the respective figures means that your
are an " apple" shape - i.e. you're carrying more weight
around the waist and upper body than you do on your legs and bum.
Whereas
"pear" shaped individuals carry any excess weight around
their lower body. As such they're less likely to suffer from heart
disease and cardiovascular problems - there is less stress on the
heart than if excess weight is carried around above the waist.
