Reflexology :: Reflexology is a treatment method that balances the functioning of the organs and systems of the body by pressing points on the feet and hands. The power of reflexology is its ability to gently encourage the body to heal itself without being invasive. The combination of pressure point stimulation and foot massage induces deep relaxation during which there is little resistance within the body to the simulation and balancing effect of the treatment – this is when positive changes can occur.

Reflexology can help with digestive disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome, stress-related illnesses or long-term back pain. By providing an effective 'tonic', reflexology can eliminate stress hormones such as adrenaline and boost the immune system. Regular treatments, especially during the winter months, are an essential component of a healthy, holistic lifestyle.

A course of treatments is recommended for specific ailments. Individual sessions can be used as a relaxing alternative to a full body massage.

Reiki :: The general effect of a course of Reiki treatments is to produce a feeling of being 'laid back', calm and more able to cope. If spirits are low then they will be lifted; it makes you feel more positive and brings things back into balance.

The treatment lasts approximately 1 hour and is carried out with the recipient fully clothed lying on a massage table. It is a non-threatening, non-intrusive therapy, gentle but very powerful and ideal for treating everyone, no matter what the circumstances. It supports and increases the effectiveness of traditional and complementary treatments.

You will feel calm, serene and boosted after your treatment. Kirsty our Younique Yoga consultant is also our Reiki Master.
