At Younique Fitness we will begin a tailor made programme after your six-week check-up and after confirmation from a medical practitioner that you have recovered sufficiently from your birth to undertake exercise under fully supervised and safe instruction. Your Younique Personal trainer will also carry out a full health and fitness assessment to identify the areas of the body which have been most affected by the pregnancy and to design your tailor-made programme.

We gradually encourage the body to strengthen and realign itself to compensate for the changes that have taken place. We will asses your range of movement, posture, transverse abdominal strength, pelvic tilt and cardio vascular fitness level. As you progress, more emphasis is placed on cardio vascular fitness to recover your ideal body weight and resistance strength training to tone and shape your body.
