strengthen the body in a variety of birthing positions and to prepare
the body for labour.

fitness programmes. We understand the demands and time constraints
of a new mother, but also know that most women want to get their
figures back after having a baby. Younique Fitness aims to develop
flexible alternatives for new mothers at a time and pace to suit
them. Whether its with a group of new mums in the park or one to
one sessions with baby present. The Younique Fitness team work around

will provide advice on diet, health and fitness and many post pregnancy-related

At Younique Fitness we will begin a tailor made programme after
your six-week check-up and after confirmation from a medical practitioner
that you have recovered sufficiently from your birth to undertake
exercise under fully supervised and safe instruction. Your Younique
Personal trainer will also carry out a full health and fitness assessment
to identify the areas of the body which have been most affected
by the pregnancy and to design your tailor-made programme.
We
gradually encourage the body to strengthen and realign itself to
compensate for the changes that have taken place. We will asses
your range of movement, posture, transverse abdominal strength,
pelvic tilt and cardio vascular fitness level. As you progress,
more emphasis is placed on cardio vascular fitness to recover your
ideal body weight and resistance strength training to tone and shape
your body.
